Fitness and Performance 4

Potential of 6 Credits
Prerequisite: Fitness and Performance 3

Fitness and Performance 4 is for students who have completed the first three levels of the Fitness and Performance Program.  Through the knowledge, skills and abilities gained in previous levels, Fitness and Performance 4 focuses on individuals creating, executing and refining their own programs/plans, based on a goal analysis approach.  Programs and plans will be driven by the individuals goals and then prepared with guided assistance from the instructor prior to entering the training environment.  Once training commences, these programs will then be refined based on the ongoing results and trends elicited.  During the execution of personal programming, students are required to video and analyze movements for errors and create correction plans to refine and improve the analyzed movements.

A second focus of the Fitness and Performance 4 program is mentorship and leadership within the facility to help foster our LCI Fitness community.  As advanced level lifters, individuals in the course are assigned mentees (Fitness and Performance 1 students) whom they are responsible for helping to learn, improve and navigate the pitfalls of training.  As leaders, Fitness and Performance 4 students will also be involved in the planning and hosting of an Open-House Lifting Night where parents and significant life figures are invited to come and take in a training session in the LCI Fitness environment.

Fitness and Performance 4 is the application level of all things that program participants have learned up to this point in the Fitness and Performance program.  Upon completion of the program, individuals who have finished Fitness and Performance 4, can train in any facility, training system or modality and be among the top performers.  They will understand the necessity of community and the need to better those around them in the development of all health and fitness cultures.
