Hello all you Conquistadors and welcome back for the second semester.  The fitness center will remain closed for the first week back at school as we finish clean up, maintenance and get classes started.  You may check after school to see if the door is open or stop and see Mr. Gillespie during the day to see if he will be around to open up.  Thank you for your patience.  Regular hours will resume the second week of semester 2.

All individuals looking to get started in the fitness center, in the Conquest Conditioning Program or in the Conquest Credit program are asked to come and participate in basic functional  movement preparation seminars happening on February 5, 6 & 8.  Seminars will run from 3:15 to 4:15/4:30 and will teach participants the basics of dynamic warm ups and the major functional movements involved in fitness and weight training.  This is a great opportunity as we will also have the support and expertise of the Lethbridge College Exercise Science program on hand.  If you are interested in enrolling in the Conquest Credit program and looking to gain an extra 5 credits, please check with Mr. Gillespie for materials and requirements.

We will still be running the 3 levels of programming and those levels are the Tabata based protocol body weight program, the strength and power program and the CrossFit Style Conquest program.  For those who are new check back each day for more information about each of these amazing opportunities.
