It is with a heavy heart that we are preparing to say goodbye to Mr. Boyes at the holiday break. Mr. Boyes has become a huge part of the community at LCI Fitness during his internship. He has been a pillar of stability for the space, the individuals who use the space and the school as a whole. There is no job too big or too small for Mr. Boyes. Everything is always done to the highest standard and we have reaped the benefits of his dedication to the space. However, where we have truly benefited is through his knowledge, generosity and kindness. His gentle nature and calm demeanor has fit the philosophy of the program and space like a glove. He prioritizes the well being of students over results - even though they are not mutually exclusive elements. Through that medium he has been able to build amazing relationships and use those relationships to help people become the best they can be. Everyone feels valued and welcome when Mr. Boyes is in the space.
Beyond community and relationship building, Mr. Boyes has shared a high level of knowledge, coaching and passion with the us. He has a keen eye for movement, a great grasp of effective programming and an ability to adjust on the fly to the needs of the group and individual.
Mr. Boyes is a true leader and wherever he lands will benefit immensely from everything he is and everything he believes in. If the stars align and we cross our fingers, maybe we can be that final home for him. Wishing him all the best as he gets ready to enter his full teaching status and continue to spread the lessons learned with iron. Mr. Boyes - we salute you!!!
