Lift Day & Skill Development


As part of the program we also have a strength component that factors into our level of fitness. Fitness spans a broad dimension of disciplines and within those we cannot deny that in life we need to have a level of base strength. Periodically during the week we will have days that are dedicated to lifting and skill development. This is just another piece of the puzzle that will help you reach your overall objectives.


Bench Press 5 x 5 with 1 min. rest between sets.


For those looking for more of workout than this we will discuss it when you come in today and can put something together. The other school of thought that surrounds the lift day mentality is to allow the body a break from the metabolic conditioning style training you are being exposed to. Consider active/non-active rest (can I say that?)

The skill development portion is individually based on what it is you may need work on. As a coach I try to keep in mind what areas individuals need to work on and provide drills to help with that improvement. When you come in today I will let you know the skills you will be working on.

If you don't feel like having a workout because your body is sore and you need the rest, come in and have a coffee a visit or just support those who are training.
