Were you good this weekend?


AAAAAHHHHHH...back after the weekend. Weekends are usually the undoing of most peoples fitness regimes. We work hard all week, our lives are planned and scheduled down to the minute Monday through Friday and then...... The problem is that we still need to live some semblence of a life in order to stay the path of remaining at the top of our game. However, when indulging over the weekend try to keep in mind your overall goals of why you have started your own personal conquest and what it is you are looking to conquer.

This week I encourage you all to post some goals to the comments section and share what your goals are with other members. It will give you something to talk about and the support of the group is sometimes a neccesary aspect of chasing down those ever elusive goals.

Tips to making it through the weekend:

1) Prep your meals ahead of time. When your short on time its easy to just grab something not healthy for you on the run. When you are prepared there is no excuse to do this and it definitely helps with the pocket book

2) Feel free to indulge a little but don't get carried away

3) Try to stay away from sugar. Did you know that they will actually feed heroin addicts sugar when they are coming down in order to keep them a little more calm.

4) Go through your cupboard and remove the unhealthy choices and temptations

5) Remember that Doug Checkley is not human and has the ability to process things mere mortals cannot. Don't consume like Doug consumes :)
