A Whoop A$$ of Wall Balls

Karen will be one of the larger mental challenges that you face for a while (although there have been some doozies lately). The burn that exists when doing a large volume of WBS combined with the cardiovascular element of a high number of repetition proves to be a big challenge for many people. What you will need to do during this workout in order to be successful is to block out the burn and just continue on. Because this is a full body movement your body will recover and respond very quickly to the stress you place on it and allow you to get back into the game. Don't take too much rest. This wod can be done without breaking. I have seen it done by members of our own conquest crew last year.

Wall Ball Pointers:

  1. Ensure you reach a full range of motion

  2. Keep the ball high on your chest just under chin. Avoid letting it droop down and pulling it into your stomach on the squat and between reps

  3. Focus on the target

  4. Keep your elbows in. You wouldn't shove someone with wide elbows, so why would you throw something that way?

  5. Breathe, breathe, breathe
