Looking for an oppurtunity to do more? There is a Yoga/Stretch class being offered at the College. It is taught by Stacia Nelson who is an amazing wealth of knowledge and heads up the Exercise Science program at the Lethbridge College. It is affordable and will do wonders for improving your flexibility and state of well being.

This WOD is about mental toughness. Being able to persevere through the pain. We have done this WOD periodically over the past few years and should be a nice gauge as to your lower body current fitness levels. Ensure proper depth as it is key to removing shearing force from the knee joint and maximizing leg development. Proper depth is constituted by your hip crease being below your knee as shown in the picture to the right. Stand up tall and finish each squat by locking your hips in. Short repping your squats is the same as cheating. Don't be a cheater! Stand by your numbers and know they are legit. There is nothing more satisfying than smashing an old WOD score and knowing you did it in style.

# of squats = # of minutes you have been squatting. (1 at 1 min, 2 at 2 min 3 @ 3 min.........)
Must complete within each minute time frame
Lack of depth or improper form will result in completion of the WOD
