October 12, 2011

Yesterday, I briefly touched on the ability of athletes to develop tremendous body control and the ability to be extremely strong when controlling their own bodies.  When I think of this type of strength the first type of athletes that pop into my head are gymnasts.  Their control over their bodies and strength involved in that control is unparalleled.  The second thing that pops into my head is shown in the video above.  Strength, grace, coordination, agility, balance.  These individuals are amazing!!!  The amount of stabilizer strength and overall body strength required for them to complete a performance is truly astounding.  Strength and skills, like the ones showcased in the video, can only be attained through hours of diligent practice and training.  If you want something bad enough anything is possible.
