I will be away on September 30th in Banff presenting CrossFit with my wife Heather. It should be a good time and a great opportunity to continue spreading the word of health and fitness to the masses. Below is listed the WOD's for Wednesday and Thursday.
The pain of getting started extends beyond muscle soreness for some individuals. Even at this age individuals are beginning to battle the increasing rigidity that is accompanied with joints, muscles and the aging process. Wrist flexibility is an important attribute for a weightlifter to have, but is equally as important for athletes of all different sports. Anyone looking to become efficient in movements needs to have the correct ability to move joints in the natural paths they were made to move in. Any breakdown in flexibility along that path will result in altered range of motion and a different movement. These differences can manifest themselves into injuries if not taken care of. The best way to battle some of these aches and pains on your own are stretching and using foam rollers and trigger point rollers. If you are looking for more aid and have access to benefits graston technique, ART, myofascial release, massage and assisted stretching are excellent methods to employ. The more you do it, the better it gets. Continue to ignore these issues and they WILL come back to haunt you.
